Snake and Ladder

Snakes and Ladders is an ancient Indian board game that has gained worldwide popularity and is now considered a classic. The game is played by two or more players on a board featuring a grid of numbered squares. The board is adorned with several “ladders” and “snakes,” each connecting two specific squares. The main goal is to move one’s game piece from the starting point at the bottom to the end at the top, based on the roll of a die. Ladders serve as helpful shortcuts, allowing players to advance more quickly, while snakes act as obstacles, causing setbacks and delays. To play, players take turns rolling the die either by pressing the spacebar or by clicking or touching a “roll” button. The outcome of each roll determines how far their piece advances, adding an element of chance that keeps the game engaging and unpredictable.
