Check 2 Square

Your task is to position two check marks within each row and column, ensuring that they maintain their designated territories. The check marks must never be positioned to touch one another—this includes being horizontal, vertical, or diagonal neighbors. Consequently, no square surrounding any check mark may include another. To assist you, you can place check marks or their auxiliary crosses with a simple click, or remove existing checks as needed. A helpful hint: the puzzle becomes more manageable when you consider that any two adjacent rows or columns combined must hold four check marks in total.
